Vinton G. Cerf

Born 23 Jun 1943. American computer scientist who has been called one of the fathers of the internet. He co-designed the architecture of the internet's operation with TCP/IP protocols. Cerf also pioneered in establishing the first commercial e-mail service, while vice president of MCI Digital Information Services (1982-1986). He joined Google as a vice-president in 2005.«
