Henry Joseph RoundBorn 2 Jun 1881; died 17 Aug 1966 at age 85.English electronics engineer whose numerous inventions contributed to the development of radio communications. He joined the Marconi Company in 1902, and for his earliest work he devised the elements of direction-finding equipment. Round became Chief of Marconi Research in 1921. He was a prolific inventor.
