MAGIC SQUARE: Calculate A-B-C
The aim is to place the some numbers from the list (11, 12, 20, 21, 22, 30, 32, 33, 41, 70, 91) into the empty squares and squares marked with A, B an C. Sum of each row and column should be equal. All the numbers of the magic square must be different. Find values for A, B, and C. Solution is A-B-C.The first user who solved this task is Nílton Corrêa De Sousa.

Rudolf WolfDied 6 Dec 1893 at age 77 (born 7 Jul 1816).Swiss astronomer and astronomical historian. Wolf's main contribution was the discovery of the 11 year sunspot cycle and he was the codiscoverer of its connection with geomagnetic activity on Earth. In 1849 he devised a system now known as Wolf's sunspot numbers. This system is still in use for studying solar activity by counting sunspots and sunspot groups. In mathematics, Wolf wrote on prime number theory and geometry, then later on probability and statistics - a long paper discussed Buffon's needle experiment. He estimated πby Monte Carlo methods. |
