Edwin Herbert Land

Died 1 Mar 1991 at age 81 (born 7 May 1909). American inventor and physicist who founded the Polaroid Company. His one-step process for developing and printing photographs was the greatest innovation in photography since the introduction of roll film. He first demonstrated the Polaroid Land Camera in 1947, which gave fully developed prints in 60 seconds.
